Artist's Sketchbook
These are all views of the same sketchbook
that Glenn draws in daily. It is the only thing he takes with him on his European Tours.
"A" is the portfolio closed; "B" is showing just the cover opened and revealing
the arrangement of Circa (formerly known as Rollabind) discs attached on both sides of the first stiff
plastic sheet. This double set of discs creates a hinged page, that
holds his paints, brushes, rags and a box that holds a sponge, eraser and
pencils in it. "D" shows how the materials page folds over any page that he is
working on. The Velcro strip (hook side) down the page allows him to attach,
using Velcro (loop side), anything that he wishes, provided that he has added
Velcro to them also. The rag is held by a clip that he has added Velcro to
so that he can also attach any of the other elements to it and use it to clip to
any other sketchbook that he wishes. (Note v 1.0 shown - there has been a
slight modification to the way the hinged page is attached in the version we are
currently selling)

Why not just use a
3-ring binder?

Three ring bindings
invade farther into the page, thus reducing your free drawing space. With
this system, the rings only go into the page about 1/4", leaving you with
more of the paper to draw on!

You have to open and
close the rings every time you want to move pages around. With this
system, the pages remove easily by hand, without the extra hassle.

Three ring systems
don't have any place to keep your supplies handy. With this system,
the special hinged page which allows you to keep your art supplies right
there next to the page you are working on, and then allowing you to slide
finished pages behind the supplies safely.

Assembled Circa Sketchbook v
1.1
(This is the exact same item which was formerly
known as the Rollabind Sketchbook.) Sketchbook with paper sampler. Holds 8
1/2"x11" paper. Includes 2" Velcro (hook) attached to interior of
sketchbook and a 1/2" wide piece (loop) to use to attach your art supplies. Sketchbook measures approximately 9"x11 1/2".
Plastic covers are rigid enough to draw while holding on your lap. This
setup is NOT sold in stores. You may want to get a punch to punch your own paper,
but in case you don't have one, we do sell pre-punched paper refills.
This is not your standard 3-hole punch system!
Please note when deciding on what supplies to store
in the sketchbook, each item needs to be small enough that it would normally fit
completely inside of your back jeans pocket (about 3/4" thick and 4"x5").
Any larger than this and the system might not close correctly.

Sea Sponge
Because this is a natural sea sponge, sizes vary
somewhat. Measures approximately 2" long by 1" wide x 1" deep to
fit easily inside the Altoids Tin.
While we have cleaned these ourselves, they may still contain sea shell or other
