about this specific stool from a participant on a tour a couple of years ago
and absolutely loved it! (And believe me, he has been searching for the
"ideal" travel stool for many years!)
So what is this
stool? It is called the TriLite Folding Stool. It is the "ultimate" in
lightweight compact comfort. It is made out of aircraft aluminum - so it
weighs only 21 oz, yet supports a full 200 lbs. (the XL size is 30 oz., and supports a full 275 lb.). It features a full width canvas seat
and folds to fit in the palm of your hand. It comes with it's own
drawstring storage bag for ease of carrying. It's set up dimensions are
8"x16 3/4"x 17" high. (the XL is 9 1/2"x 19" x 22 1/2" high - and this XL
one folds to 3"x4"x17 1/2", a bit bigger than the regular sized one)

standard, at 5 3/8" long, capped. The diameter of the grip is comfortable

Fountain Pen ink is composed of water, dye and surfactant, a detergent based
agent used to help control flow in your pen. NOTE: Drawing and drafting inks
contain shellac which can be harmful to your fountain pens. There are also
several inks out on the market marked Calligraphy Ink and further marked for use
in fountain pens. We suggest you check these carefully, we've found most of the
Calligraphy Inks to contain shellac and unsafe for fountain pens. Never use any
ink other than those made specifically for fountain pens in your pen.

Namiki makes pens that will ONLY take their cartridges, no
others will fit, they are proprietary cartridges. Once in awhile, people
get in a pinch and try to SHOVE a different cartridge into one of these

cartridge, or even possible damage to your pen.

They ARE flexible, but the nib is not solid gold like the Falcon, so they are a
whole lot less costly! The iridium nib provides a smooth, enduring stroke.
Stainless nibs in most fountain pens can feel scratchy, and since most are
designed for writing, they don't usually allow the ink to flow enough for line
work. Comes in three sizes (Extra-Fine, Fine and Broad). Glenn's
preference is the Extra Fine, but at this price you may want all three!
